Greatest Uniform in NFL History – Round 2

Voting for the second-round of Dave Dameshek’s bracket to determine the Greatest Uniform in NFL History is now live over at

The Seahawks’ current jerseys and 1976 throwback digs were featured when Dameshek unveiled the competition earlier this week, but by way of fan vote only the club’s new jersey made it out of the bracket’s first-round. The Seahawks’ College Navy, Action Green & Wolf Grey garb is now matched up against the current uniforms of the New York Giants.

In that first-round, the team’s current jerseys (a No. 6 seed) beat out the current jerseys of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 11), more than doubling up on the Bucs by a final vote count of 51,937 to 25,689. Seattle’s throwback unis (No. 10) couldn’t quite cut it against the throwback digs of the Chicago Bears (No. 7), as they fell by a final vote count of 31,850 to 25,391.

Voting for round two ends on Tuesday, July 9 at 3 p.m. PT. A quick glance at the bracket shows the Seahawks holding a slight edge in votes over the Giants at the moment, so head on over there and make sure it stays that way.
