A look at a memorable moment in Seahawks history that occurred on May 26:

1999: Fritz Shurmur, Mike Holmgren’s longtime defensive coordinator who followed him to Seattle from Green Bay earlier in the year, takes a leave of absence after being diagnosed with liver cancer. Shurmur would never coach a game for the Seahawks as he died on Aug. 30.
