A look at a memorable moment in Seahawks history that occurred on March 1:

2002: The team announces a re-designed logo and new colors – Seahawks blue, Seahawks navy and Seahawks bright green – to coincide with the move into its new stadium that was built on the site where the Kingdome had been and also to the NFC West as part of the NFL’s realignment. “The new ‘Hawk, he’s leaner, he’s meaner, he’s tougher, he’s got a little attitude, and I think he’s ready to compete in the NFC,” then-club president Bob Whitsitt said.

Take a look at the evolution of the Seahawks uniform here.
