Hill active for Seahawks
Veteran linebacker Leroy Hill is active for today’s game against the Cardinals despite being limited in practice all week with the sprained ankle that forced him to miss last week’s game against Bears.
Whether Hill starts for the Seahawks remains to be seen, after second-year linebacker Malcolm Smith played well in Hill’s absence last week. What the Seahawks lose in experience with Hill, they gain in speed with Smith.
“We’ve become faster with him on the field,” is the way defensive coordinator Gus Bradley put it.
