In a nutshell: Seahawks 10-7. The Seahawks scored first (Steven Hauschka’s 34-yard field goal) and last (Russell Wilson’s 24-yard TD pass to Doug Baldwin). In between, the Patriots got a 46-yard TD pass from Tom Brady to Wes Welker. The Seahawks’ scoring drives covered 68 and 85 yards.

Player of the quarter: Wilson. He was 7 of 8 for 131 yards in the scoring drives to out-Brady Brady. He also scrambled for 9 yards on a third-and-4 play on the TD drive.

Play of the quarter: The Seahawks’ TD pass, as Baldwin slipped on the play coming from the slot, got up and ran past cornerback Kyle Arrington to take Wilson’s pass in the end zone.

Number of the quarter: 1:46. As in the time of the Patriots’ six-play, 82-yard drive to Brady’s TD pass to Welker.
