McDonald inactive for Seahawks
Not surprisingly, Seahawks defensive tackle Clinton McDonald is inactive for today’s game against the Patriots. He was listed as doubtful on Friday and did not practice all week after getting a groin injury in last week’s game in Carolina.
McDonald is a backup, but has been effective in the tackle rotation and also “started” as the nose tackle in the nickel line. With McDonald out, rookie Greg Scruggs will be active for the first time in three weeks.
Also inactive for the Seahawks:
WR Charly Martin
SS Winston Guy
CB Danny Gorrer
CB Jeremy Lane
G John Moffitt
DT Jaye Howard
