Wilson up for Rookie of the Week honors..again

Quarterback Russell Wilson is once again up for Pepsi Max NFL Rookie of the Week honors, the NFL announced this morning.

Wilson completed 10 of 21 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks’ 14-12 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3, including the game-winning toss on the game’s final play to wide receiver Golden Tate.

Wilson was up for the award in Week 2 as well, when he led the Seahawks to a 27-7 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on 15 of 20 passing for 151 yards and a touchdown – good for a 112.7 passer rating. But Wilson was edged out in the fan vote by Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson, who carried 19 times for 109 yards and a touchdown.

You can vote here for the Seahawks signal caller, who is up against fellow first-year players in Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (4 rec., 113 yards, 1 TD), Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (22-46, 313 yards, 2 TDs), Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris (17 carries, 78 yards, 1 TD), and Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh (52-yard FG. 3/3 XP).

The voting ends at 12 p.m. PT on Friday.
