In a nutshell: 20-16, Cardinals. The Seahawks took a 16-13 lead on Steven Hauschka’s 39-yard field goal with 9:20 to play, only to have Kevin Kolb come off the bench and throw a 6-yard TD pass to Andre Roberts with 4:59 remaining. The Seahawks drove to the Cardinals’ 4-yard line in the closing seconds, but could not get the ball in the end zone.
Player of the quarter: Kolb, who was booed when he took the field for an injured John Skelton, quickly turned the jeers to cheers by finishing the 80-yard drive to his TD pass.
Play of the quarter: Leon Washington’s 52-yard punt return, which setup Hauschka’s field goal that gave the Seahawks to lead – at least for a while.
Numbers of the quarter: 0-1. The Seahawks record after they couldn’t hold the fourth-quarter lead.
