Lynch, Baldwin lead not-expected-to-play list

Marshawn Lynch and Doug Baldwin, the Seahawks’ leading rusher and receiver last season, are on the team’s not-expected-to-play list for tonight’s game against the Raiders at CenturyLink Field. Coach Pete Carroll said on Wednesday that neither will play, as Lynch is recovering from the back spasms that prevented him from making last week’s trip to Kansas City and Baldwin will miss a fourth consecutive game because of a sore hamstring.

With Lynch out, rookie Robert Turbin, incumbent backup Leon Washington and Kregg Lumpkin will carry the load for the league’s leading rush offense during the preseason. Turbin ran for 93 yards and a touchdown in last week’s 44-14 victory over the Chiefs.

Also on the list:

CB Walter Thurmond (leg)

S Chris Maragos (shoulder)

LB Matt McCoy (knee)

OG James Carpenter (knee)

DL Jason Jones (knee)

DL Greg Scruggs (hamstring)
