On this date: Seahawks go International

A look at some memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Aug. 4:

1990: The Seahawks play their first international game, dropping a 10-7 preseason decision to the Denver Broncos in an American Bowl game in Tokyo. The game is played on Sunday morning in Japan so it can be telecast on Saturday night in Seattle.

2008: The first wave of employees move into the Virginia Mason Athletic Center, the team’s new headquarters on the shores of Lake Washington in Renton.
