CANTON, Ohio – You never know who you might bump into in the Hall of Fame Gallery, which houses the busts of those players who have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Like Jason and Andre Park. They live in Jacksonville, Fla., where Jason is stationed in the Navy. But today, they were examining – and admiring – the space where the bust of Cortez Kennedy will be placed after he is inducted into the Hall tomorrow night.
“We’re just die-hard Seahawk fans,” Jason Park said.
Park has only been a fan for five years and he’s originally from Missouri. But his wife is from the Lacey area.
“We lived in Kent for a little while,” Jason said. “As soon as Cortez was elected into the Hall of Fame (on Feb. 4), we bought our tickets that night.”
This also was their first visit to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
“Just breathtaking,” Jason said.
