The berm awaits

The Seahawks’ practices at their Bing training camp will be open to the public again this year, starting with tomorrow’s first session that begins at 10:30 a.m. — 30 minutes later than originally scheduled.

Also open are the practices scheduled for Sunday, as well as next Monday-Friday; Aug. 4-9; and Aug. 14-15.

You can register here to attend one of the 13 open practices. Fans will park and check-in at The Landing in Renton and take a shuttle – at a cost of $6 – to Virginia Mason Athletic Center. Once at VMAC, food and beverages (cash only) as well as team souvenirs (credit cards accepted) will be available for purchase and fans will watch practice from the berm on the east side of the practice fields.

Where to sit? Here’s a tip: Look for the camera towers, because the full-team portions of each practice will be held on the field that is bordered on three sides by the towers from which practice is videotaped.
