Jason Jones, a free-agent defensive lineman who played the past four seasons with the Titans, has agreed to terms with the Seahawks.
The 6-foot-5, 276-pound Jones is the first free agent from another team to agree to join the Seahawks since the signing period began on Tuesday. He visited Virginia Mason Athletic Center this week, but also was being pursued by the Rams and Titans.
Jones, who will turn 26 in May, started 28 games the past two seasons. He registered 112 tackles, 15.5 sacks and seven forced fumbles for the Titans, who selected him in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
