PACIFIC OCEAN – We are heading back to San Diego today and will be in port tomorrow morning. Tonight we will have our Farewell to Mexico cocktail party with our Fans. This will be my last blog, so here is a little recap of the last couple of days…
On Wednesday, our second day in Puerto Vallarta, the guys just wanted to go to the beach and enjoy the surroundings. It was really nice to sit on the beach, lie in the sun and chill. Richard Sherman and his brother rented some jet skis and had a ball – I think it was the first time for both so it was really cool to see their excitement. After they returned from jet skiing, we all just sat back and had a “Corona commercial moment” of the boys chillaxin’.
After boarding the ship, we took one last group picture with the fans and set sail for Cabo San Lucas (right in the middle of college spring break I might add). On Thursday morning we arrived in Cabo and then headed straight to the beach. We hit the city around 10:30 AM when it was pretty quiet, but right when we had to board the ship (thank goodness), the beach came alive with college students and Spring Break fever!
Throughout the week we have had a great time with our wonderful fans. We all want to thank AAA Travel and Holland America for being our partners on these fabulous cruises. I also want to say a big “Thank You” to our players, Richard Sherman and John Moffitt. You have provided us an opportunity to get to know you other than what we see on the field, and you have proven once again that the Seahawks are not only bringing great athletes to the organization, but also men with great character.
Until next year…Later, Gator.
