INDIANAPOLIS – The numbers on the shirts the players wear at the NFL Scouting Combine are handed out alphabetically. So it’s just a coincidence that 6-foot Kellen Moore is QB13 and 6-8 Brock Osweiler is QB14.
“Somehow, I’m 13 and Brock’s 14, so I’ve got the power behind me wherever I go,” Moore, the victory-producing QB from Boise State, said today during his podium stint at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Rather than Arizona State’s Osweiler, Moore said he prefers to hang with Russell Wilson, the Wisconsin QB who is 5-10½. “We like to stay together,” Moore said.
For the record, Moore was measured at 6-0, “with a bunch of zeros at the end,” he said.
