Bevell agrees to terms

The Seahawks have agreed to terms with Darrell Bevell to become their offense coordinator.

Bevell, who turned 41 this month, replaces Jeremy Bates, who was relieved of his duties as offensive coordinator on Tuesday.

Bevell spent the past five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings as their offensive coordinator. Prior to that, he was with the Green Bay Packers and worked with Matt Hasselbeck before the quarterback was traded to the Seahawks in 2001.
