Today’s practice will be the first physical activity for the Seahawks — minus a light weightlifting session on Monday morning — since Saturday’s game, meaning the players got three full days without football. The team resumes practice today with their eyes set squarely on the Bears game in four days — but more importantly on the task at hand in the moment.
“We’ve got to understand how important it is to be humble with what’s in front of us,” Carroll said during this morning’s team meeting. “There’s only one way to get into this — with hard work. What we need to do is simple; it’s not mystical. We’ve got to work hard this week, and that’s something that’s completely in our control.”
