For the 11th time this season, the Seahawks are hitting the road to play a football game, and even though this one carries a little more weight than the previous 10 trips, the team is treating it like any other long-distance away matchup.
This weekend’s flight, lodging and ground transportation will all mirror a normal road game, especially the one the Seahawks already took to Chicago in October. For all intents and purposes, it’ll be déjà vu this weekend when it comes to the logistics of the trip.
The Seahawks will depart Friday afternoon for Chicago, arrive at night and conduct their usual day-before preparations at the team hotel and an undisclosed field on Saturday. Following the noon Central time game on Sunday, the team’s charter flight is scheduled to depart Chicago at 5:30 p.m. Central time, with an estimated arrival in Seattle set for just before 8 p.m. Here’s a look at the travel itinerary for the weekend:
