For the first time in more than two years, the Seahawks will appear on national television when they face the Rams for the NFC West championship on Sunday, meaning all 206 markets in the U.S. will receive the matchup on NBC at 5:20 p.m. Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth and Andrea Kremer will have the call.
It’ll be quite a change in TV coverage from previous Seahawks’ games this season. Before Sunday, the most-televised matchup was the Nov. 7 contests against the Giants, when 36 percent of the nation’s TV sets received the game. Here’s a look at the Seahawks’ five most-televised games this season, not including the Sunday Night Football primetime matchup this weekend that will cover 100 percent of the country:
1. 36 percent: Seattle vs. New York Giants, FOX, Nov. 7
T-2. 19 percent: Seattle at New Orleans, FOX, Nov. 21
T-2. 19 percent: Seattle vs. Arizona, FOX, Oct. 24
T-4. 18 percent: Seattle vs. Atlanta, FOX, Dec. 19
T-4. 18 percent: Seattle at Denver, FOX, Sept. 19
