Getting accustomed to being at the top

The Seahawks have been in first place in the NFC West — either alone or tied at the top — for all but one of the 15 weeks of the 2010 season.

They’ve been alone in first for four different weeks (last time occurred following Week 11) and tied with either the Rams or Cardinals for 10 different weeks. The last time Seattle wasn’t at the top of the standings was following its bye during Week 5, when Arizona played and won to gain a half-game advantage that was wiped out the next week.

Seattle and St. Louis are currently tied for first in the NFC West with identical 6-8 records.
