Not much has changed on the injury front for the Seahawks from the rundown coach Pete Carroll provided Monday.
But he did reiterate the status of the injured players in his just-completed midweek Q&A session:
Wide receivers Mike Williams (sprained ankle) and Ben Obomanu (hand laceration) – Neither will practice today, and the decision on their availability for Sunday’s game against the 49ers in San Francisco will be made later in the week.
Nose tackle Colin Cole – He is scheduled to practice today, for the first time since getting a high ankle sprain in the Week 8 loss to the Raiders in Oakland. We’ll have more on Cole and his return after practice.
Left guard Chester Pitts – He won’t practice, either, and Carroll said at this point the team is enjoying the continuity of having Mike Gibson and tackle Russell Okung on the left side for what would be a third consecutive game. “So why change it again?” Carroll said.
