Tuesday for the rest of the world has become the second half of a two-day weekend for the Seahawks.
Players received a “Victory Monday” off day because of their 31-14 win on Sunday, making today’s NFL-wide day off an extra day of rest in the weekly break for the Seahawks. But even with the respite, many players will still head to work this morning to watch film, get treatment or lift weights.
Coaches, on the other hand, don’t get days off during the season, and today is no exception. They’re breaking down 49ers game film and formulating the game plan for Sunday, with a majority of their prep work completed by the end of the day today. Playbooks are assembled tonight and will be ready for distribution on Wednesday morning, when the players will reconvene for the opening meetings of the week.
