Routine is a wonderful thing.
It helps the Seahawks prepare each week and, today, it’s helping them get back on track following Sunday’s loss. Regardless of the circumstances, it’s Competition Wednesday once again, which provides some familiarity for the players to return to work and begin the rebound process from two consecutive losses.
“The benefits of having a system are that we can get back into it and get back rolling,” Coach Pete Carroll told his team this morning.
The system has already been set into motion with normal weightlifting and meetings starting at 7 a.m. The Carroll-driven vernacular in meetings remained the same as always as the Seahawks charge toward an 11 a.m. walk-thru and the week’s first practice at 12:30 p.m.
“Take pride in working together,” the head coach told his players. “We’re counting on feeling you compete today so we can have a heck of a game on Sunday.”
