Qwest Field has been awfully kind to Seattle’s turnover margin.
The Seahawks turn into ball hawks at home, with 13 of their 18 takeaways in 2010 coming in the four games at Qwest Field. But they appear to have met their match in Sunday’s opponent, as the Chiefs have turned the ball over just seven times in 10 games this season, led by quarterback Matt Cassel, who has thrown only four interceptions.
“They just don’t give ball up,” Coach Pete Carroll said of Kansas City.
The Chiefs have a +5 turnover margin in 2010, while the Seahawks are at a middling +1.
“We’re ‘plus,’ but it’s not ‘plus’ enough,” Carroll told his team this morning.
