In the black when in the red

The Seahawks sure know how to buckle down when the field gets short.

Seattle’s defense is fifth in the NFL in opponent red zone touchdown efficiency, allowing foes to score touchdowns on just 40 percent of their trips inside the 20. Opponents have reached the red zone 43 times this season, but have scored only 17 touchdowns and 15 field goals, a 74 percent overall scoring clip that tops the League. Seattle has allowed an average of just 3.9 points for every opponent trip inside the 20.
