NEW ORLEANS — The Big Easy might be the toughest place to have a business trip.
With its endless, infamous diversions, New Orleans is filled with distractions for a group of players and coaches in town with one purpose — to play and win a football game on Sunday afternoon. The Seahawks have taken measures to avoid disturbances, with a midnight curfew on Friday and an 11 p.m. curfew tonight, and Coach Pete Carroll has also addressed the issue with his team.
“There are some major distractions here,” Carroll told the players during the team meeting this morning. “Don’t let things get in your way. The fun isn’t out on the street, it’s going into the Superdome tomorrow and playing our game.”
