The numbers continue to prove Pete Carroll right.
Win the turnover battle, and you’re more than likely going to win the game, and the stats through 10 weeks of the 2010 NFL season confirm that longstanding Carroll philosophy.
The Seahawks are 5-0 when having a plus or even turnover margin, and then 0-4 when having a minus turnover margin. League-wide, teams win 83 percent of games when in the plus or at even, and last week, clubs with a plus or even turnover margin went 13-1.
“What we’re talking about is winning and losing,” Carroll said during this morning’s team meeting. “This is too important.”
