Strength and honor

Bright and early this morning, weights clanked, music played and work got done.

The “big guys” lifting group — consisting of linemen, tight ends and linebackers — went through one of the week’s three strength-building workouts at 7 a.m., completing a 30-minute session under the guidance of head strength and conditioning coach Chris Carlisle and assistants Jamie Yanchar and Mondray Gee. The skill players will get their major workout in on Thursday morning at 7 a.m.

Players also had workouts on Monday morning and will get in a light post-practice lift following practice either Thursday or Friday.
