The bounce back process has gotten underway at Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
The Seahawks just broke from a team meeting, the first all-player gathering since yesterday’s loss, and Coach Pete Carroll is urging everyone to take responsibility for what happened so the team can move forward.
“Own up and take the teaching,” Carroll told his players. “It’s a humbling day, but we will rally.”
Carroll also pointed out that even with back-to-back losses by a combined score of 71-10, the Seahawks remain in first place in their division.
“Does it mean anything at this point of the season?” Carroll said, referring to Seattle’s current place tied atop the NFC West. “No, except that we’re in great position to own the thing.”
