The Seahawks have filled out their 53-man roster by signing three more players: center Chris White, defensive end Jay Richardson and wide receiver Ruvell Martin.
White (6-2, 295) played the past three seasons with the Houston Texans and entered the league in 2005 with the Green Bay Packers. He is needed because guard Ben Hamilton was the backup to center Chris Spencer, and Hamilton was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday.
Richardson (6-6, 280) played the past three seasons with the Oakland Raiders after being a fifth-round draft choice in 2007. He has 109 career tackles and seven sacks, including 52 tackles and three sacks in 2008. He provides depth after starter Red Bryant was placed on IR on Tuesday.
Martin (6-4, 220) was with the Seahawks during training camp, but he was released on the roster cut to 53 players.
