There are some positives to going on the road.
Especially this time of year.
The Seahawks will be leaving wet and cool Seattle and heading to sunny and warm California today for Sunday’s game against the Raiders in Oakland, where forecasts are calling for a high of 70 and partly cloudy skies on game day.
This being their fourth away game of the season, the Seahawks have had great luck with weather on the road in 2010. Denver and Chicago featured bright sun, St. Louis was in a dome and Oakland’s lining up to have extremely pleasant conditions. And two of the remaining four road matchups — three if you include Tampa in December — will have perfect weather on game day, since Arizona and New Orleans play under roofs.
