Road show

The Seahawks are taking the show on the road, and for the first time this season, they have prior history with winning away from home.

Coming off of their 23-20 victory in Chicago two weeks ago — the team’s first road win of 2010 — the Seahawks head to Oakland this weekend with the knowledge and not just the wishful thinking that they can win in a foreign stadium.

But they don’t have to wait until Sunday to win the game. As Coach Pete Carroll said during this morning’s team meeting, the players’ “attitude and preparation” in practices this week will lay the foundation for a second consecutive road victory.

“Our challenge this week is to take our game on the road,” Carroll told his team. “Wherever it is, it doesn’t matter. We just need to play our game.”
