CHICAGO — Coach Pete Carroll called it “staying in Seahawk ball mode,” and it’s exactly what the team is focusing on today.
This is a business trip after all, and while there are small chunks of time here and there to get out of the hotel, the Seahawks are all about effectively closing out preparation throughout the day today.
“This may be the game that decides things at the end of the season for us,” Carroll told his team this morning, echoing the “every game is a championship game” battle cry he’s shared during this season. “Let’s continue to make a full commitment to this weekend, because tomorrow, we’ve got to go. We’ve got to cut it loose. We can’t let anything get in the way of that.”
