As the “day before the day before” churns along, the Seahawks are hitting the practice field for their final heavy-duty workout of the week, a session dubbed “No Repeat Friday” because the emphasis turns to perfection and precision.
And one of the biggest focal points is along the line of scrimmage, where penalties can be curtailed and meticulousness takes on utmost importance. After all, exactitude along the line is something the Seahawks can explicitly manage themselves.
“This is ‘gimme’ stuff,” Coach Pete Carroll told his players this morning. “We’re totally in control of how we play along the line of scrimmage. We’ve got to take care of it right.”
