The Seahawks will be trying something new when it comes to their travels this weekend.
After overnight trips for their previous two road games, Seattle will fly to Chicago on Friday night, giving them a full day to acclimate to the two-hour time difference.
The team will conduct normal meetings and practice on Friday morning at Virginia Mason Athletic Center before flying to Chicago on Friday afternoon, with an estimated arrival set for 9 p.m. On Saturday, the Seahawks will have meetings and a walk-thru in Chicago, leading into their traditional eve-of-game meetings on Saturday night. Kickoff of the Seahawks-Bears game at Soldier Field will be at noon Central time on Sunday.
For the St. Louis and Denver roadtrips, the Seahawks flew in on Saturday afternoon before the Sunday afternoon games.
