Vacation time
The long haul has come to a halt.
After eight consecutive weekends with games — four preseason and four regular season — and more than two straight months of football activity, the Seahawks finally get a healthy break, as they commence a four-day weekend starting today. Many players have flown home, and they’re going into the break with specific instructions from Coach Pete Carroll: Rest, relax and do nothing.
“This is break time,” Carroll said. “You guys need it.”
