It’s a parity party in the NFL this season — and the Seahawks are right in the middle of the action.
Through the first four weeks of the 2010 campaign, 21 of the 32 NFL clubs are at .500 or worse, including the Seahawks, who at 2-2 are amidst the jumble of even-record teams. Only one team —3-0 Kansas City — is undefeated, and only nine teams are 3-1.
There’s even more equality in the NFC. Just four teams are 3-1, meaning the Seahawks are only a game out of the top spot in the conference. And of course, Seattle is currently tied for first place in the NFC West with Arizona and St. Louis.
“Nobody’s ahead of us in the division,” Coach Pete Carroll said to his team this morning. “It’s like we’re starting all over again. This is a fresh start in our division to get going again.”
