With no “Tell the Truth Monday” during the bye week, this morning’s team meeting served as the review of the 20-3 loss on Sunday in St. Louis.
Not that the Seahawks spent much time on it.
Already moving on and focusing on the next opportunities — the bye week and the Bears game next Sunday — the team took a step back to analyze the defeat to the Rams for a few moments this morning.
“There’s a lot of disappointment but it’s not because we didn’t prepare well or fight hard,” Coach Pete Carroll told his players. “They neutralized us, and all the phases of the game contributed to that.”
Carroll pointed specifically to the field position disparity, a factor that the offense, defense and special teams all contributed to.
“We just didn’t create plays,” the head coach said.
