Cornerback Marcus Trufant (ankle), defensive tackle Brandon Mebane (calf) and linebacker Aaron Curry (hamstring) are not expected to participate when the Seahawks take to the practice field momentarily to begin preparing for Sunday’s game against the Rams in St. Louis.
But coach Pete Carroll would not rule any of the starters out during his mid-week press conference.
“We won’t really know on any of them for a couple of days,” Carroll said.
All three were injured in Sunday’s win over the Chargers at Qwest Field. After they went out, rookie Walter Thurmond (for Trufant), Junior Siavii (for Mebane) and Will Herring (for Curry) stepped in.
Today also will be the first practice with the Seahawks for the three players who were signed Tuesday: wide receiver Brandon Stokley and offensive linemen Breno Giacomini and Allen Barbre.
Carroll said the Seahawks see Gianomini as a right tackle and Barbre as a left guard.
