Even with Sunday’s 27-20 win still aglow through the smiles and high spirits at team headquarters this morning, the Seahawks know one thing’s for sure.
Life goes on.
The victory means nothing more than memories gained and lessons learned at this point, and the Seahawks are making sure they’re staying grounded and remaining focused on the next task at hand.
“We’re going to forget about it [Monday] and get going on the next opponent,” Matt Hasselbeck said Sunday after the game.
In fact, they already have. Coaches have been in the office since before 6 a.m., and players started weightlifting sessions at 8 a.m. The team will gather at noon for meetings, and just like that, Rams game week is underway.
