Speed limit? No such thing for the Seahawks, who are preparing with a focus on speed during their “No Repeat Friday” practice this morning.
With the light practice — the penultimate workout before Sunday’s game — being conducted sans pads, the coaches are pushing a quick pace to make up for the lack of heavy-duty physical work found in a normal practice. The emphasis is also on fine-tuning the game plan and further diving into the mental side of preparation.
“Let’s make practice really sharp by the way we work,” Coach Pete Carroll said. “Do stuff right and get everything on the mark — it’s all stuff we can control so we can be right for Sunday.”
Wideout Deon Butler jumps up to tap the “I’m In” sign on his way to practice this morning. The Seahawks are conducting their “No Repeat Friday” workout sans pads in the indoor practice facility starting at 11:30 a.m.
