Even though he’s one of the newest Seahawks, Zac Robinson already knows all about Qwest Field.
The team’s new practice squad quarterback, a rookie out of Oklahoma State, played against Washington State at Qwest Field in 2008, when he went 20-for-27 for 193 yards to lead the Cowboys to a 39-13 win over the Cougars. And although he won’t be on the active roster, Robinson said he’s looking forward to the Seahawks’ season opener on Sunday, when he’ll get to experience Qwest Field to an even greater degree than the nonconference matchup two years ago.
“It wasn’t even full but it got so loud,” Robinson, who arrived in Seattle on Monday morning, said of the 2008 game that attracted 50,830 to Qwest Field. “I can’t imagine what it’ll be like when it’s full.”
