Traditionally, the fourth and final preseason game is a glorified scrimmage for NFL teams as starters sit and reserves play.
Coach Pete Carroll doesn’t like that mindset, and he’s making it clear to his players this week to keep them tuned in to the preparation process that’s building into the 2010 regular season.
“We need to practice, prepare and stay in it,” Carroll told his team. “If you pick and choose when you go, you’re not competing. Practice like you’ll be playing and we’ll take care of you from there.”
