The Seahawks are doing a little calendar cut-and-paste this week as they prep for Saturday’s game at Minnesota.
With game day being shifted up from Sunday to Saturday, the rest of the week is being altered accordingly. Today is like a normal Wednesday, tomorrow is like a normal Thursday, Thursday will be like a Friday and so on. It’ll be a cross between jetlag and daylight savings time as the Seahawks progress through the game preparation process, trying to mimic a typical game week as much as possible — while also trying to keep their days apart.
“It’s a Wednesday for us today,” Coach Pete Carroll said. “We don’t care what the rest of the world says about what day it is.”
