Even with positives abounding from Saturday’s preseason opener, the coaches aren’t satisfied.
And they don’t want their players to be either.
During this morning’s staff meeting, Coach Pete Carroll, after rattling off numerous encouraging signs from the game, said the team still has “a million miles to go,” and he wants his assistants pushing that mindset as the team returns to practice today.
“We’ve got to keep building on our preparation,” Carroll said. “Keep getting better, stay on it, push hard. One game doesn’t mean anything now; we’ve got to do it again and do it better.
“Let’s not get comfortable one bit.”
