The clock hadn’t even struck 8 a.m. and the Seahawks were already at work, kicking off a long final day of preparation for their first preseason game on Saturday night.
Beginning business that won’t end until around 9 p.m. tonight, the Seahawks just jumped into a special teams film review this morning before several more hours of meetings and a short practice at 11:25 a.m. The attention has completely turned to Saturday’s game — but not to the Titans as much as to getting primed for a peak performance at Qwest Field.
“We’ve got to complete the week well so we can get our minds right,” Coach Pete Carroll told his team. “The process is underway. We’re building for our performance. Prove that you’re ready to go.
“We’re getting ready to have a blast playing this game that we love. Do everything you can to be right so you feel great and so we can perform really well tomorrow night.”
