Besides the grueling practice-and-meeting grind during Bing Training Camp, the Seahawks have another element that adds to the hectic schedule.
Even with a packed agenda, the weightlifting regimen must go on, as players have been cycling through quick workouts at 7 a.m. or immediately following practice throughout camp. Under the watchful guidance of head strength and conditioning coach Chris Carlisle, the Seahawks have been going through 20-minute, 17-station circuits, rotating every other day.
Attendance and participation have been a flawless 100 percent so far during camp, an extremely positive sign as the team progresses through camp and closer toward the season.
“What we focus on is to maintain flexibility, joint integrity and range of motion so when we start the season we can move right into our regular season program without any residual soreness,” Carlisle said.
