Scouts honor

Virginia Mason Athletic Center is a full house this week.

The organization’s six college scouts, who are usually scattered around the country analyzing future NFL players, have convened at VMAC for the week to conduct meetings, watch tape of college players, see their former subjects at work in Seahawks practices and plan out their college visit schedules for the fall.

The half-dozen national college scouts are back at the team headquarters for the first time since the NFL Draft in April, making this week a reunion of sorts for the scouts and the crew of 10 Seattle-based personnel staffers.
