There is much rejoicing in ’Hawks headquarters this morning.
Rookie safety Earl Thomas, who agreed to terms with the Seahawks late last night, has arrived at Virginia Mason Athletic Center this morning, and coaches are extolling his appearance as if he were the long lost prodigal son.
“Earl! You made it!” one coach said, rising from a chorus of good spirits in the football office early this morning.
Thomas, the 14th selection in the 2010 NFL Draft, is set to practice this afternoon. Now just fellow first-round pick Russell Okung remains unsigned.
