Plays of the day
Here are some highlights from Sunday afternoon’s practice on Day 2 of Bing Training Camp:
- To close out the practice, Matt Hasselbeck led the first-team offense on a smooth six-play, 60-yard drive against the first-unit defense, culminating in a 28-yard touchdown strike to wideout Deon Butler.
- Tight end John Carlson made a spectacular diving catch on a corner route near the left sideline, drawing hearty applause from the fans seated on the berm.
- During 7-on-7 drills, Hasselbeck connected with Butler again, this time on a nice deep post over the middle.
- Wideout Golden Tate logged a long touchdown catch during 7-on-7 period.
- Coach Pete Carroll, playing scout-team quarterback during a pass defense drill for the defensive backs and secondary, connected with Marcus Brown for a 50-yard touchdown bomb, eliciting wild cheers from the crowd.
